My chiropractor referred us to Eat It after we (Mike and I) told him that we would like to start eating more organically. The first time we walked in we were struck by the warmth and friendliness of the employees and Sabrina, Franca and Sara have never forgotten our names! Amazing! The prices are very competitive, which we appreciate immensely since some stores charge astronomical prices for organic products. The produce never fails to impress me. It is fresh, sweet, not waxy or sticky and just never looks abused! Mike and I consider it such a treat to shop here because we know that everything we buy has been analyzed with a fine tooth comb! Sabrina does such a remarkable job in ensuring that any of the stores products, including health and beauty items, do not contain any dangerous chemicals or questionable ingredients; safe for the person and safe for the environment! Since moving to the larger location, the list of available items just continues to grow! And how many stores in Winnipeg will let you place your order online and then deliver it to you?!! It's wonderful to be able to purchase and consume products that don't endanger our health or the environment, but another aspect that Mike and Ireally appreciate about Eat It is who and what the store supports. We are proud to patronize a store that is willing to support farmers who treat their animals humanely by letting them run around, not locking them up in pens and not pumping them full of hormones and antibiotics. We are proud to buy from a store that supports farmers who care about the soil they harvest from and don't saturate it and the water table with pesticides, fertilizers and herbicides. And we are thrilled to consume products from a store that supports local businesses, enriching our economy and assisting budding entrepreneurs in promoting organic awareness and its impact on our selves and on our environment. I can't believe how easy Eatit.ca has made my life. All I do is place my order on Tuesday and pick it up on Thursday. I no longer have to run all over the city to try to find organic products at a reasonable rate. I now have more time to clean my house and spend time with my children. I LOVE Eatit.ca!!! I live in a small town an hour and a half away from Winnipeg and I find it very difficult to find organic products in my area. It's so easy to order from eatit.ca and I can pick up my order in the south end of Winnipeg close to my father's place. As a student and organic shopper, money is tight. Eat It has provided me with a place to do my shopping where I can feel better about shopping locally, free of pesticides and also have money to spare. More important than that though, is the friendly staff and atmosphere of the store itself.
